    SPD For Large Panels

Dehn, Furse, Eaton, Wylex etc they all offer 3ph surge protection. Remember you may need to add it to sub boards too. So get the cheque book out.

Best CCU is Schneider...Oh no it isn't. Anyone tried Chintz?

Not a lot to choose between them nowadays. Pay your money take your choice. No problem with Chint but trying to get SPDs etc if same brand is not always easy as wholesalers don’t always stock everything. MK consumer unit SPD's

Agree with Richey3333, SPD’s very handy not just about Lightning strikes worth installing nearly every time. Just wait till Arc protection becomes mandatory on all circuits other countries already doing it. Makes up for the cheap electrical items people like to purchase and the dodgy installations.

Fire rated clips - any suggestions?

Yes, I would agree where a typical plasterboard ceiling is installed, not required. False tiled suspended ceilings or above stretch ceilings or any cable that is directly fitted to the ceiling would require metal restraints. sums it up nicely.
