As above. I nearly always install separate switches outside the bathroom including in my own house. It’s a good idea to have a timer fan to over - run for a while after the shower to clear that moisture away.
How about changing the E27’s for 100 watt equivalent LED (often around 11watts). They are very bright though so you will need a working dimmer.
Change the dimmer to a decent programmable module - say Varilight.
Alternatively, change the fitting for GU10 spots - say 3 on each fitting - so...
I believe the idea with not installing lower than 1350mm is to prevent small inquisitive children from getting access to it and playing with the switches. I’ve read that somewhere.
I think the 1350 is a good height if it can be achieved easily enough.
Very high consumer units are not ideal...
If it’s a square D - Domae range then a new Schneider Easy 9 RCBO will fit straight in and with manufacturers blessing....
