    Diversity factor on rewire

You don't need a ticket, you need to be competent. Your original question proves a lack of competence. There is a line when dipping into other areas of expertise. I'm sure many people could change the oil and filters in their car without being mechanics but wouldn't try and change a gearbox...

Any good ideas for 'rise and fall' lighting GU10's?

You can get adapters for the likes of e27/b22 to gu10, might open up your options.

    Two phase electrical supply problems

You should be able to change your tariff to a standard one with your current provider and they'll sort the metering out for a (usually) small fee. Once any tariff price contract is up you would be free to switch to whoever you want. I would say you'd also need to get an electrician to visit and...

    Flex for fixed wiring

Not sure I would be as quick to jump to the term dangerous. From the brief description the flex runs no more than a metre or two inside the wall. Overload protection would be provided by the fuse in the plug of whatever is plugged into the socket. Fault protection - It's worth remembering...

Under cabinet strip lighting, Upgrade to LED

No but cable is already in situ. This is where I was coming from. That's the way most of us would I'm sure, was likely a kitchen fitter that did it!

    Flex for fixed wiring

I believe a bit of confusion may be arising from your use of the word plug when you presumably mean socket. If you are bothered about the one that is on a plugtop it might be worth noting it in the relevant section but it wouldn't necessarily warrant anything else in my opinion. (Edit: Lucien...

Need help with economy seven heater

That controller is for the hot water, as has been said. A picture of the heater or proper make/model of the actual heater would be helpful.

Time of year for outdoor sockets

If the circuit supplying the socket was RCD/RCBO protected you'll have a long walk anyway! It's not something you should have to worry about happening often anyway. Although not really your question, I've found outdoor sockets and Christmas lights don't really play ball together. Transformer...

Intermediate switch first in 3 way?

You can swap the modules out on Hager switches. 1, 2 & 4 gang switches all have individual modules and any could be swapped for intermediate ones.

    Worrying activities!

Wouldn't even know where to begin with that tbh. Would have been a bit of a nightmare to be fair with cables entering from all angles but certainly could have been executed better than that!

    Trainees, Show Us Your Installs

Don't be so hard on yourself dude, gotta start somewhere! Plus it looks good, not perfect but who would expect it to be. As I say to our apprentice it doesn't really matter what it looks like at this point as long as it's been done right, you can work on the presentation as you gain more...

    Off peak switch for boiler

As has been said, leave the offpeak one switched on at all times, the power to that circuit should only be on when the economy times kick in. There may be an additional switch for the boost element somewhere a bit easier to access in the house (quite often an E30 in the kitchen, see picture...
