    I agree I have seen a few and wondered what the general view was on doing it. Spur of the ring seems to win out or even a new circuit if access is easy.

    Good evening gentlemen i been asked to put switched fused spur in the airing cupboard for a shower pump the customer says the plumber says just tag it on to the immersion ! What's everybody's take on this ?

    You also need to consider any dowlights. I have just fitted some JCC loft braces adrift call them a flat pack metal cover to protect the light and maintain air around the fitting.
