Hi quick one if you come across the meter tails coming from the meter to a henley block then from henley block to main switch on consumer board, if you replaced that consumer board would you still need to remove main fuse or could you just disconnect from henley block and leave fuse intact? cheers thanks.
 
Yes as I thought going to disconnect at Henly Block then no need to break seals on fuse, obviously main switch on old fuse board will be turned off so fuse will not be under load Cheers lads.
 
YES TOO RIGHT!!! all my CU changes are emergency replacements for customers with disabilitys who need power 24/7 !!!! ALL of them...!! they all get rang through at 8.30am and are all melting requiring emergency replacement. so safe isolation is needed and i cant wait till NEDL turn up

I was told by a DNO worker that if you pull the fuse and phone them afterwards stating that it was in a dangerous condition so you were obliged to make it safe, then they will simply replace the seal with no fuss.
