Hi guys and gals,
Just paid for the new City and Guilds 2396 Design and Verification Course which I'm starting in 2 months time. This new one is a level 4 compared to the old which is level 3! So how come?!?!? I spoke to the lecturer and its all basically the same: Project and 3 hours exam...
For shame on you...... You don't even know what qualifications are needed to be a qualified Electrician! But Eyy on the bright side it seems to me that you are! The photo you just posted in the NVQ Level 3. If you completed the 3 years of college, that will give you the 2330 level 3 and like...
Are you willing to graft like an animal?
Are you willing to use massive amounts decorators caulk to cover up all your destruction from grafting?
Are you willing to rub your nose in insulation for fun? Oh and cat ****?
Will you work for minimum wage?
Are you able to fake test certs?
Firstly.... Go find your colleague, secondly..... Slap him in the face.
What a foolish man. Probably one of these blokes that will have a tantrum over wiring a double socket
Rather broad, But:
Yourself - Domestic only, providing you follow the correct procedure. (Scheme,Insurance, etc)
Employer - Anything, providing the employer has followed the correct procedures (Domestic installer - Approved contractor)
If you can find all the certificates from your apprenticeship days the JIB shouldn't argue any more with that matter although you would have to do a health and safety exam as stated on their website. If you want a refresher on testing that won't rip an arm and leg off the City and Guilds 2392...
This work is Part p notifiable I think due to it being done in a kitchen, You WILL need a registered domestic installer to carry out the work, I'm sure he will answer every question you throw at him..........
'Hell of a lot of cash, time and responsibility when you consider the rates of pay' That should be in BOLD in the advertisement for a 8 week course! Brilliant quote that one, shall have to remember it
