    I tend to test as i install individual circuits. That lets the other trades go ahead. its a bit late to fix a damaged cable for example, when the wall is plastered or the laminate flooring is down. Have you enough installed to show him a good range of your work and an example of the required tests.

    I had him for my last visit. Nice chap very open to answering questions and suggesting alternative ways of working/testing,whilst on the visits. As long as your jobs are up to scratch and you know the basics you will be ok.

    Had a quick google, all I can find is SAD and Epilepsy. Neither of which sound like your problem. Maybe ask them what the problem is and do some research into the condition.

    How are the lamps installed. Can you get more air flow to cool them down. did you try the LEDs with a driver not a transformer.

    You've got the wrong idea.The cable drum isn't normally cranked the cable is pulled off the drum.

    2394/2395 to be scrapped!

    I don't know why they think the pass rate is too low. I thought it was supposed to be a difficult exam, so that only electricians with the necessary skills and experience could pass it. Having said that I thought the 2394/5 were quite easy when I did them.
