Iv wired a kitchen extension in twin brown by mistake, about 30 downlights, i didnt even know it existed until i came to second fix it. Bad day at the office
I use mainly knipex for cutters and pliers etc. Wiha drivers and dewalt cordless gear. My bro had 3k worth of festool gear nicked recently, luckily a farmer found it stashed in hes field and handed it in to police and he got it back about 2 weeks later, but i doubt that happens to often! Worst...
Do you mean 2 elements on each immersion heater? If so the bottom one would be used as the main heating element perhaps on a timer. and the top one as a boost. They wont be on at the same time.
The fee your paying to the council to certify the work you may aswell put towards paying a sparks to do it for you. Least you know it will be done correctly then, it doesnt sound like a diy job to me

You dont need a neutral at any switch, you said you was wiring with singles in conduit, so theres no need to use a blue core and sleeve it, just use brown.
Not quite, you need a permanent live to common on one switch, and switch live from the common at your other switch to your light fitting. If that makes sense
You could use junction boxes wagos in line splices, your not very limeted because the joint would be accessible.. all i would say is make sure you take a picture of the connctions in the wiring centre, and mark the cables before u start disconnecting anything.
u only need the one cable in each common, the other two need te be in either L1 or L2. L1 being permanent live. L2 being switch live to the light fitting
U need to link the neutrals together from the two twin and earth cables.
And take the feed and put it into L1, along with the black of the 3 core. And take the brown that goes to the light fitting and put it into L2 along with the grey of the 3 core. As long as at both your switches the common...
