    You could try the method similar to that used by motorcyclists to balance wheels. Mount it on a board first so the fan is vertical. The heaviest point should then rotate to the bottom. You need to add weight to the other blades until it no longer rotates.

    WAGO lever connectors are much better and safer than croc clips. Made a lead up myself using them and it works fine.

    Take note of this - I don't do conduit but did cut a thread onto some stainless rod. The swarf easily cut my finger when I went to remove some. Razor sharp!

    It looks like a fake Apple charger and some Apple stuff doesn't like non-proprietary chargers. So I guess the guy bought it thinking it was genuine and would deliver genuine Apple electricity to his device.

    So to repeat Telectrix's question, how would you run a cable through a wall for an outside socket, security light, etc? Cable TV companies will just drill straight through (mine did years ago) as will satellite dish installers.

    I think you're stuffed for that - I did the course at Ableskills course in Dartford and one of the instructors travelled around the M25 from Greenford every day as apparently there was no similar place out west.

    I had similar problems and fitted a humidity controlled fan. It does an excellent job of keeping the garage dry.

    As per the thread title, I can't view attached photos in any forum - I get directed to the "Page not found" page. For example in the "dodgy trade pics for your amusement" thread in the General Electricians Talk Forum, I can't view any of the attached photos. I've had a search through the forums...
