    Did a consumer unit change the other day only to find that all the down stairs sockets had been buried in concrete. It must have been a wooden floor then the good old builder just poured concrete in! Insulation readings are L - L = 4.2 M ohms, L - E = 2.21 so just ok. Zs is ok. The problem is...

    Diabolical! Also the blank is missing from the middle of consumer unit. The warning label on the consumer unit should also add, "isolate supply before opening cover and before going anywhere near the strip connectors"!
