the op is asking whether he can just link from the cooker switch to the socket which is INTEGRAL with the cooker switch. or does he have to take another separate feed from the ring main?
forgive my ignorance, why not just use normal mains dimmers and switches lol
EDit: so are they just run like normal lightening circuits radial daisy chained? supplies for each switches? one supple per channel (whatever that is)?

so iv been helping out on a couple of jobs on the weekend where there putting in lutron. now i have no idea how it works or anything just been running the blue and red lutron cables where im asked...now my question is:

i was just a bit skeptical because when you buy a large box with like 50 pieces in they usually turn out ****e quality. whats the difference the 3/8 1/4 and 1/2 do us sparks use the 3/8 more?..lol iv just been using my gaffers with my eyes closed

Been doing lots and lots of metal work like ladder rack, basket and cable tray. now really need some good spanner ratchets you know the ones with the ratchet on one side and normal spanner on the other.
im an apprentice so would like good quality/ moderate but off course done want...
but what if its a family house e.g. child having shower (electric) while mum and dad using kitchen toaster , oven etc?
Edit: also heaters during the winter maybe?

hi guys just a quick question. going to invest in a clamp meter was just wondering whether a clamp meter like this one would be able to measure any current on the earth line for rcd faults in mA...
i would suggest unplugging all other appliances from the rfc thats tripping then plug in the washing machine and see if it still trips..if it doesnt it means simon is right and its accumulative leakage.
mate iv seen quite a lot of positions for electricians mate in london... dont just check one site check all of them reed , indeed, totaljobs all them websites...also give it a bit of bull when your applying to the jobs mate... obviously dont outright lie but big yourself up..e.g. been doing...
also im gathering that since your going college you can only work 4 days a week? if thats the case much much harder because normally people want you for 5 days a week
