    correct you need a ground from the psu to the esp though btw tie the grounds (not the same as the earth in a mains connection) of all supplies together

    you don't want to run the leds from the Vin port on the esp use a direct wire from the psu to the led power and use the other wiring as normal otherwise you can kill the esp also the cabling the esp would have connected isn't designed for higher loads never increase the max power that high...

    well now to throw some stuff on the tv wiring I did ages ago I have a labgear 8 port distribution amplifier mounted in the airing cupboard (eventually I'll add a socket for it one day) then I have a fm antenna connected to it and an older tv aerial in the back garden ran with a 20 ish meter...
