What invoicing apps/softwares do you guys use?

I use Xero for invoicing and sending estimates I use a different program (Quicken - not Quickbooks) as I have had it from 2004 and it still works. I cannot follow Xero as I am not an accountant.

What invoicing apps/softwares do you guys use?

Reached out to tradebase and they had not heard of the cooling off laws (I sent them a link to the act of parliament) and they mashed up a copy and paste effort that does not have the correct formatting I am currently using Xero and that works- Xero allows me to do custom formatted word...

How Many Power Showers in a New Build is Allowed?

If I were building such a house I would be instaling as much PV as I could and then dumping the excess in to water heating / battery storage.

Can plastic trunking be used in a commercial kitchen

Why not take a new armour to the kitchen and install a sub board there? Then you will only have one cable from front to back Could you drop the kitchen ceiling slightly to allow to hide cable runs / trunking. You could probably drop the cables from there behind the plasterboard to the appliances

One House and 2 Consumer units needed by LL, need help with circuits

Remember - if you are doing the electrical work are you covered? What if something goes wrong- are you insured? On a side note- you can install sub meters after the main cut out, that way the electricity use of each property can be accurately recorded. You need to think about fire alarms- if...

What invoicing apps/softwares do you guys use?

What really gets my goat (this info was from trading standards) is that the bottom section is to have a tear off slip so the client can tear off the part and send it to you to cancel the works.

What invoicing apps/softwares do you guys use?

Hi I spoke to one of your staff about the cooling off period and they did not know. The problem with such software is that the law requires such data (cooling off stuff) to be set in a prescribed form and not jammed in a bunch of text at the bottom This has been raised by myself twice (you keep...

    Non payment and sign off

In instances like this we work directly for client or walk away We also do a price per item then everyone knows how much a socket or light switch costs. The costs are standard white plastic, if client wants fancy stuff we drop £4 per item off the cost and they buy the shiny sockets etc

UK Replace Drayton Digistat SCR with simple manual on/off switch

I added a zone on to my heating, I had to add a second motorised valve for the heating- I have a S Plan system You need a valve for each heating zone, the 'other' wires in the motorised valve usually go to a microswitch which brings on the boiler sequence You will need to get someone who knows...

My Nissan 'easy to steal from' Townstar EV

The problem is not the stealing of the van- I have a Ghost II immobiliser fitted and it stops key clone / duplication theft. The problem is that the doors all unlock at once and you cannot stop that. You are right- I may have to buy additional locks and have them installed

My Nissan 'easy to steal from' Townstar EV

I bouught a Nissan Townstar EV and have found what I consider a theft problem All previous vans I have had allowed the driver to enter and exit the vehicle with the rear storage compartment still locked. When you opened the van you could set it to global or local unlock, this helped prevent...

Had a look, it seems you cannot customise your estimates to add terms and conditions after the initial estimate page

Proving a point - for real

You can also use a insulation tester at 250V to prove your hand held tester, cheaper than buying another proving unit.
