I am due a new calibration for my MFT (Metrel MI3000) which has come to the end of its first year of service. Can anyone recommend a company that will pick up and drop off after calibration in the south?
Secondly and more to the point of posting this, once this is done if I keep regular records...
Trying to find out the best place to get the two meters calibrated, it almost seems cheaper to buy a new one that get them calibrated.
What does everyone else do regarding theirs?
Good Afternoon,
As you may have been aware we have had a long running promotion on our website where we have supplied a free voltage and continuity tester with every multifunction tester that we sell.
Although the deal has been very popular with our customers, feedback has proven that many...
Just thought I'd thank test-meter for agreeing to take my Fluke MFT for calibration last Friday at Elex, Sandown. It was just out of calibration and it seemed too good an opportunity to miss.
I'm not aware of anyone local to me offering calibration, so it saved having to pack it up and take it...
Help from someone preferably experienced in Vacuum Furnaces, more specifically Consarc.
Now to the point, right now at work we have an issue with a Furnace, I've managed to work out (after hours of wasted time leak detecting) that what is happening is at the pumps there is an Electronic Vacuum...
Hi, can someone clear this up for me please? Does my test meter need a current calibration certificate for my elecsa assessment? I have been told by a couple people that a check box with a record of monthly tests will be fine, is this true and in this case do you need to supply your out of date...

just spoke to a company doing calibration and was told they could calibrate it but haven't software to alter meter if there is a problem, quite cheap but wondered do all calibration services do this?seems would be a bit of a pain if a problem occured and could of had it done somewhere else?
Hi guys
I need to get my Fluke 1653 calibrated, any recommendation? I live in Havant, Hampshire and would like a drop off rather than post calibration.
Cheers,
Chris.
My 1653 has suddenly started giving inaccurate results when testing rcds. On a ramp test, it indicates that its giving 33mA and not tripping the RCD, but another tester the same RCD is tripping at 24mA, which is about normal for a 30mA. Fluke are quoting a fixed repair cost of £216 + VAT, to...
Hi Guys,
I'd like to raise a quick discussion thread regarding calibration checkboxes.
As a test equipment provider, it's sometimes really useful to know how many of you would use one, and what it's worth is to you as a tradesman.
There are a range of different calibration checkboxes...
looking into calibrating my metrel mi 3000 looked on ebay at this

any one used testermans before? looks too cheap.
I've deleted a company in Midlands who quoted the best price & approach for repair & calibration to my MFT. I know of 2x places 'Certific8' & 'The Calibration Centre'. I was getting lousy prices for the repair. Companies stipulating a flat fee regardless of having taken it in to view the...
My MFT failed calibration on some insulations resistance measurements but i am a little confused. I used a different more local calibrater as i needed the least downtime but his certificate is very different from the manufacturers one that was done before (now i have had time to compare side by...
Hi all. I was wondering what you guys do when it comes to calibrating your testers. Do you send them away or do you use a calibration box or another method entirely?
i have been suspended from work regarding my PAT test machine been out of calibration,i work full time as a PAT Tester.
There is no re-call proceedure set up, i carry a spare meter so sent this to head office to be repaired to cover me when mine went in,this spare machine went missing from head...
