Can anyone recommend a decent 4 inch humidistat extractor fan to be installed in the ceiling and vented out through roof?
I will need 4 of these.
I have used Denmans own brand Steeple in the past.

is there such a back plate for an extractor fan where id be bale to run pvc pipe into. theres a fan needing changed but when installed they have run a piece of flex just into it with t&e clipped along the wall.
you would probably get away with trunking as there is a small base but not enough...
So I've been to see a broken fan requirement...... in a park home.
No isolator, no access to cabling, no loft...
So how the hell can you install to manufacturers requirements???

Hi can someone please clear up for me wheather extractor fans are a must on domestic rewires. Some people say you dont have to but some say you do. I always fit them as standard but current builder dosnt want them. Thanks.
Have been informed by building inspector today, that all bathroom fans need to be timer fans even when there is an openable window . Has any one else been informed of this new requirement ?
I bought a new extractor fan but it didn't come with a switch, is it possible to use the switch from the old fan?

After a little advice please. I have an aquarium hood, which has (what i think is called) an inverter. Says 240v 50hz. This powers a small circuit board, which powered 2 240v electronic ballasts, which were dead. I fitted a twin ballast instead.

Im having trouble getting 5in extractor fans - Denmans order them in but no one has on the shelf? My core set goes up to 127mm so I put 5in for the Utility and 4in for the Bathroom. What do you guys use 6in now?

Well chaps ive been looking at the manufacturer requirements for fusing down fans ,an every one appears to require only the permernant live to be fused so having words with those nice people at scolmore click you can do it easily with the grid range that doesnt actually look like grid fuse and...
Regarding a house re wire. Just checking, but does a cooker hood expelling outside cover the issue of having a fan in the kitchen. Assume it removes enough air.
