Hi all,
Hopefully someone can help me out here.
Ok, so I have:
9 x 1w LED, its 12v, 300ma, 3,4v.
9 x 3w 33R resistor.
Power supply 12v, 200ma (testing with this one but i intend to use larger ma when all 9 leds are in use).
I believed this resistor to be good enough (its a fair size) to cope...
What the title says plus a bit more. Ever since a few days ago our house's lights have been getting either very dim or very bright. Also my box fan will ramp up in speed. Sometimes lights will go out all together. All this happens in complete synchronization. At one point the power went out for...
Hello,
I was thinking of getting this consumer unit replaced as it is made of plastic, the lid doesn't really close properly, it hasn't been tested in awhile and I had to have my ringdoor bell supply put into another box as there was no space.
Do you think it is worth it to get a new one?

I’m going to get a new oven but suspect the current one is wired differently to how the new one will need to be done. Old one is connected as per the pics. I.e it’s on it’s own circuit with a red oven switch, but the actual connection is via a socket behind some drawers. The new oven will be...
I just replaced my range with a new one because the old oven took a long time to get hot and then eventually stopped working all together. Assumed it was an issue with the range as it was 20 years old. Hooked up the new range and the control panel was flashing and could not turn oven on. Could...
