    Electric bike switch getting warm

    I've fitted an in-line switch between the battery and the electric motor on my diy electric bike conversion. I've also fitted an in-line fuse but have noticed the switch is getting warm after a few miles. It's rated 10 amp but I cant find anything higher rated as an in-line switch. What can I do?

    It’s getting mighty hot

    6 x caravans,fetching 125 amps off 100 amp supply. Cable getting mighty warm,protected by 60 amp BS 88. Pretty sure it’s a 10mm 3 core Swa. Told occupants,to have 1 heater on,& a kettle,otherwise it’s gonna “pop”.
