There are five downlights (roughly 20 years old) in the kitchen which I'm told are not earthed and therefore will have to be disconnected, pendant or strip light put up...

Is there a way of extending the red...

I put up a cooker hood in my cousins kitchen yesterday and noticed when wiring it in it had no earth cable.

I am adding a new Air handler panel to a building and its load is 5421KVA. How do I go about getting the the start up current when the phase voltage is 240V?
On obtaining the Start up current, now how do I calculate the voltage drop when the cable that I am thinking about using is the 35mm sq...

I am a qualified spark. I have encountered a scenario and something in my head tells me that it is a no no. I cant find the regulation documented anywhere. I am sure I read it last year and the lacking availability of double insulated 1.5mm singes would support my thoughts.
This is a change...
