Hi All
Our yearly renewal of liability/ indemnity insurance ( Trade direct ) has come up.
This does include £1000 of tools cover.
£1000 isn't going to get very far if the worst does happen.
Thinking of shopping around and pricing this up as a separate policy.
£5000 min would be a better...

Most of the other underwriters are in consequence...
I was called to a property where they had a water leak causing a fair bit damage and I have repaired or replaced what is needed but the consumer unit is old who do I charge customer or the insurance who is paying for everything else?

Had a customer approach me a few months back about a dodgy install by MyPlanet.
Anyway, they've gone bust so customer wanted to use insurance company HIES but they too have 'allegedly' gone bust aswell.
