Hi I am doing a CU change and have 10mm gas bond direct to the MET. There is no conductor back to the MET for water but it is bonded in 10mm and there is continuity back to MET. I know this is acceptable if the conductor is not cut but I know it is, should I run a new 10mm conductor from...

CU in hallway, water pipes into house are out the front door and round the other side of the house. Probably a 6 -7m main bonding conductor.
a) Is this safe?
b) Is there a way of testing it without using really long leads?
Cheers,
Ahab
Hi,
I'm replacing a Main Bond to Water which needs to run across a kitchen.
The ideal route would be straight across the floor because, at the moment, it is yet to receive a final 'skim' of 50mm and will then be tiled over.
