Hi, I'm obviously new. I'm looking at buying a fluke 1663 but am concerned that when the new 18th edition comes in it will be obsolete. Would I be better off buying a used 1653b, + calibration, and then a new mf tester when the new regs come in?

I'm just about to start trading and need some test equipment, basically the full kit to sign off a house/commercial property. Would it be best to go for a multi function "all-in-one" solution to save on calibration fees each year, or is it best to buy separates so that if one fails I still have...
Anyone had any knowledge of this tester...i had mine about two years and found it great , then one day i noticed ze came out 0.8 ohms everytime.
All other tests work fine including zs..but anytime i read ze it reported 0.8..rang the company and basically they did not know why but of course...

I have been told buy a 2nd hand one 1st as brand new are very expensive but make sure its calibrated does this matter if calibrated or not?
