Hi People,

Hi all,
I need to get the bonding sorted on a house I'm working on. The gas bonding is OK but the water bonding is looking to be a real pain.
Would it be acceptable to sort out the gas bonding then just link a cold-water pipe to one of the gas pipes?
Thanks very much
As title says really?
Heard people say use in some form of piping to make life easier in future should you need to replace/pull in new cable
Others say bury direct?
What's your views

thanks

Is this acceptable under BS 7671 2008? I had a Ze reading on 0.19 ohms.
Gents,
Got a slight problem with a CU install.
The incoming water pipe is sunk into the wall, so I am unable to get to the pipe to put earth clamp and run 10mm earth to MET. The pipe does go to the kitchen sink and to the combi boilier next to the kitchen sink but the CU is on the other...

I have just visited a property which has no bondings to gas and water pipes, I thought no problem to rectify, other than getting customer to pay for more than they wanted doing. My problem is the incoming water pipe is completely buried in a wall except for the spindle sticking out.The only pipe...
