    RCCB's RCBO's

    In a commercial premises, I was called to recently, the power had tripped off. It turned out it was a SON lamp which was causing the problem.     Hi all, sorry had probs submitting a post. Ok here we go, have replaced CU and put in RCBO's 6a 32a 40a. all wired in, RCBO cpc fly lead to designated bar, N to its bar. L & N out, correctly wired into RCBO and cpc to earth bar. supply polarity correct. bus bar is solid not flexy. Energised...

    Neutral lead on RCBO'S

    What exactly are the neutral leads for? and if a neutral to earth happened on a board with just RCBO'S in it, why doesnt the fault travel along that neutral and affect the other RCBO's?

    6 Amp RCBO 13 Amp load

    Doing a rewire at the moment in an empty house. I am using RCBO's mostly so when i got 1 room complete i wired the 4mm radial into the RCBO so we could get the kettle going. After several brews i went to disconnect it only to find i had wired it into a 6 Amp RCBO! The trip never operated once...
