    Most reliable RCD brand.

Greetings. There has been much talk of the unreliability of RCD's lately so I was wondering what are peoples thoughts on the most reliable. Do you have a favourite brand? What do you think is the worst brand? I am hearing quite good things about MK brand but they are quite pricey. Thanks.

Compartment trunking and RCD's in offices

Is it acceptable to NOT install RCD's for sockets provided that all the cabling is routed through wall mounted compartment trunking in accordance with the UK regulations? My concern is that installing RCD's on 13A power circuits feeding electronic Data equipment could lead to inadvertent...

    PV Install and Existing RCD's

OK, this may be an obvious question, but can a PV Installation be fed from the existing CU, if the CU contains an RCD, or would you be required to split the tails, and put the PV on its own MCB within it's own enclosure? Was told today by an NIC inspector that they require their own enclosure...

Hi, With regards to passive and active RCD's. How can you tell if an RCD is passive or active. Are the RCD's installed in a DB all of a certain type?
