    High zs reading on a radial circuit

    I have a high zs reading of 312 ohms on a radial circuit, r1+r2 is 1.82. Earths seems fine in the sockets....any suggestions?

    Hi guys ive not done any real testing on commercial jobs other than fault finding etc and was wondering, when dead testing lighting circuits would r1+r2 be accurate as the r2 will most probably not run the exact same route as the r1 with more connections etc so would you do an r2 flying lead...

    Very low reading of PFC test

    hi, I did Ze test, I got 0.22 ohms but PFC test I got 22 Amps. it is very low. I am expecting a (230/0.22=1045 amp ) by theory So pls let me why it is very low reading

    megger mft1730 earth loop reading

    hi I was on a job testing incoming supply on a TT systems the earth loop reading was 2,53ohms now what my question is It was a 2 commer 53 i am guesting that means 2.53ohms if you test result are lower you get 0.12 (point )why does it change to a commer or am i reading it wrong

    Hi everyone, I have my 2394 practical coming up soon and wanted to know if you can do a global insulation resistance test rather than individual circuits and if the assessor would be happy with this, just thinking it would save a lot of time when carrying out all your tests.

    Maximum ze reading help.

    Hi. I have have tested a property with a TN-s system and the main ze reading is 2.98 ohms which is far to high for a TN-s system which needs to be within 0.8. What would be should be done in this situation? Contact electric board? Thanks.

    I know you take the highest reading, though not sure if you take the highest reading on the ring circuit or a spur off the ring circuit? cheers

    Eicr earth rod over 200ohm

    Earth rod measures 247 ohm, with water and gas connected 233ohm. All covered by 30maain rcd. C3? Improve the rod reading to below 200?

    Low ir reading

    Isn't it ok to join the live and neutral together and test down to earth? I did this today on 250 volts as there are dimmers on the circuit and lv lights and a smoke detector. Having done this I got readings of somewhere around 1.6 m ohms. I left that circuit as it is not urgent to finish it yet...

    fluke 1652c continuity readings
