Have to get my Megger 1552 Calibrated and a reapir to the cable connections. When set to Ohms it seems intermittent on whether it reads open/closed circuit.

Hi
Guys i am wondering whether you could clear something up for me,in the event of a line neutral short circuit on a lawn mower cable should the rcd or mcb for that circuit trip?

What factors would favour repair rather the replacement of a motor in a machine tool?
· Loss of production
· The cost, generally cheaper to repair larger motors then replace
My Megger LCB2500/2 loop/RCD tester has developed a fault that when ever you do any test the overheated indicator shows that it has overheated even when cold. I presume it will need to go in for repair but can anyone recommend a cheap but reliable repairer. Thanks in advance.

Hi All
If your brief is to test and carry out all remedials as you deem nessesary do you test and carry out repairs when testing is complete, or repair as you go, IE if at the start there is no main bonding conductor would you remedy that then carry on, the reason I ask is I have anumber of...
