I'm having difficulty trying to find some one local to repair a bad connection on my Megger 1552 multi-tested.
Can anyone recommend a reliable firm in or near the Coventry area.

Have to get my Megger 1552 Calibrated and a reapir to the cable connections. When set to Ohms it seems intermittent on whether it reads open/closed circuit.
Took it to wholesalers who quoted £70 Calibration + £130ish for repair + VAT...
So for a spend of £250 Tops would I be better at looking...

My Megger LCB2500/2 loop/RCD tester has developed a fault that when ever you do any test the overheated indicator shows that it has overheated even when cold. I presume it will need to go in for repair but can anyone recommend a cheap but reliable repairer. Thanks in advance.

i have a cooker hood to repair, it is single phase 230V, the start/run capacitor has melted.
the motor and other components are in full working order this capacitor just needs replacing.
it has a value of 4μF rated at 250V
i dont have the same one to hand but i do have a 4μF 250V capacitor...
