    Selv box on Shedule of Inspections

    Hi All, Could someone confirm for me whether, on the Shedule of inspections under " Basic and Fault Protection", the Selv box should be ticked if there is low voltage lighting present in the installation. I'm a bit rusty on the form filling. :( U.

    dimmable SELV..?

    sorry if its a basic question..!! and i have done a search, to no gain. however.. just fitted a 12v SELV unit for a client.. which they bought from bloody ikea. Client has asked if they are dimmable. Checked the items paperwork and the ikea site, both of which are next to useless...

    Selv Bathroom Fan help?

    right then... doin my inspection and testing at the mo and on the schedule of inspection under both basic and fault protection there is a option for selv. now if you install 12v downlights in a bathroom that would come under selv i think. now my tutor is saying if you install 12v...

    Would bathroom downlights protected by selv transformer well outside fabric of the bathroom need further protection of rcd under the 17th regs?

    Bathroom SELV Lighting

    I've registered to NICEIC and one of the major jobs is a house rewire. I got the local council in to inspect and he said that the Bathroom SELV Lighting needed covering to stop condensation, he suggested using some plaster board made into a box... this can't be true... surely it would then get...
