    Has anyone had any problems with east /f west/f systems? Went back to an install lastweek only generated 6.5kw in 5 days (4.0kw system)With pv1 3.6 not good! Customer going mental!

    split a single string pv array in to 2 using a splitter

    I am a solar installer and i have been told that i can use a mc4 splitter to connect 1 string in to both connections on inverter as they had done this before to spread the load surly this can not be right. as a splitter is used for 2 strings going in to 1 not the other way around

    Split Phase metering (one meter or two)

    Installing 10kw on a split phase / 2 phase / 480v / single phase, 3 wire (or whatever you want to call it) supply. system is made up of 2 x 5kw arrays with two single phase inverters. Do you meter each inverter separate or can you use one three phase meter and just not use one of the poles?
