Hi,
I am wanting to change my old thermostat to a new programmable one (haven't chosen yet) but the problem is I only have a red and a black wire coming out of the old thermostat and all the new ones seem to need at least 3 wires. I do have a switch underneath the thermostat that turns a fuse on...
Got a new one today, and the boiler ain't firing up now. Got power at the receiver as the light is one but doesn't seem to anything going out, even when I press the manual over-ride. Not got a multimeter on me so can't check for voltage going out. Maybe faulty receiver. Anything else it could be?
Hey
I've an issue with a rehau thermostat that is used for an underfloor heating system. This goes to a distribution controller and then to actuators x8 (however it seems to only actually run 2 of them) to allow the flow for the heated water :p

Hi Guys

The house suffered a powersurge last year and all credit on the meters was lost, the homeowner called out an electrician who also noticed the house...
I was just wandering if anybody can help me. The controller to the combi has gone missing during a refurb all that is left is a 4c cable and the backplate. My question is that all the central heating controllers you see eg:siemens, honeywell ect will these be suitable or do i need to get a...
Hello again....I have one question that is confusing me slightly I think im overthinking it?!)
A mains operated room thermostat requires three conductors to enable it to operate correctly. Can you connect the thermostat to an existing two core and cpc cable and:
a) Use the earth
b) Use the...

i need some advice, been asked by a customer with no room thermostat to add a wireless one to control room temp. the boiler has a control programmer (manufacturer is lifestyle) for independant hot water and radiators, how do you fit a wireless thermostat? do you need to replace...
Please could anybody recommend a accurate digital thermostat that would display the present temperature of the room and also obviously what I have set the boiler to fire up.
My present old honeywell thermostat doesn't seem to be very accurate and could do with changing.
Thanks

How do I check a thermostat in an electric cooker to see that it is corectly working or not?

Will this be a fault due to the...
Hi,
Is it normal to run a twin thermostat imersion tank off a single time clock & single supply? My simplistic thought, not being a heating engineer, is that 2 supplies would be required in case both thermostats were used at the same time?:(

Hi again,
