I’m looking to get registered with the compétant persons scheme.
I’m looking at testers and wondering if it’s worth the extra money to get a tester that tests b type RCDs.
would the scheme pénalise me for not having an 18th fully compliant tester?
wondering on what people’s views are.

Testing Zs on fluke 1663 returned an error code 4
I thought this was an earth fault but another spark said it’s a voltage on the line.
Anyone have the correct answer

How do you use clamp meter?
Do you just clamp the line? Or line and neutral?
Also been working with a couple of guys that have earth leakage meters and one clamps the line and neutral and the other clamps the earth?
Can someone tell me the correct ways?

I have recently moved into a flat. One the single sockets shows LN reverse on the socket tester that I bought today Why could this be ?
I have checked the earth connection which is all good.
Megger Dielectric Oil Tester OTS60AF. Condition is used . Like new , comes with set of probes and different agitators. If your looking at this you know the price to buy new. Still in excellent working condition. Asking £2800 = 3,440.77 USD.
