We have a Electrical PLC Control Panel that has to supply 45 Fused Spur units, do I need to protect these with an RCD, we have a 10A Type D MCB at the moment.
Each Fused spur controls an electronic Volume/Pressure controller which is rated at 130mA.
Hello, can someone explain to me what these are and how they work?
I suspect these are relays that control the electro heaters because the heating dials have an On and Night setting. Or because there is a dial in another part of the house where I assume some kind of schedule can be programmed...

Hi,
I am the wife of an electrician feeling absolutely gutted. We have had a complaint from a customer who is seeking a £500 refund for a consumer unit change that my husband undertook for her. I joined here in the hope other electrician's could shed some light on what's happened as I have no...
Looking to add an additional circuit to this board. What currently available brand of RCBO’s are going to available. I suspect with the Havells shown there are already two brands mixed in? What’s the other brand with the black oval and red triangle symbol?

Unfortunately some soap spilled into the connector box of my 24v cabinet lighting and ruined the connections on the female power supply end and the male connection on each of the lights.
I can replace the power supply female hub fairly cheaply- ANSLUTA LED driver with cord, white, 19 W - IKEA -...
When I set up my Christmas outdoor lights this year, i realised that I must be using the wrong transformer as half the lights on the string are not powered or dull. Looking at the label on the lights, I can see it says 36V ac 11.52 W. The white plug you can see the lights going into on the image...
I'm fairly certain the answer is yes. But I've drilled a hole for an LED downlight and unfortunately it's busy with cables. Moving it will be a hassle due to the spacing of the other lights, just before I do - are the LED lights somehow such low temp that I could in fact just keep it here...
