    conduit used as cpc.

    Hi. On an inspection is it still ok for the conduit to provide the earth if the continuity/loop tests show up good.Its a communal lighting system in 60,s built scheme.They are fed via retro fitted rcd/mcb garage type unit.

    Earth used as a neutral?!?!

    I've got this job where the owner says he definately knows that the earth on a circuit is joined to a neutral!!! He saw it in a JB that had a loose lid he screwed on before a new ceiing was put up. I need to put an RCBO on teh same lighting circuit on that floor. The mcb trips when teh boartd...

    Determine the Size of cable to be used??

    I believe I should be on page 206 in the 7671 of the regs, I don't understand whether these are examples give on page 207 ? Could someone possible give me an example of how to determine the size of the cable to be used? (***Cough tony please***)
