Ordered some stuff from this website. Based in Sunderland, spoke to them and it all seemed legit. Now their website is down for maintenance and they're not picking up the phone.
I'm a bit worried :(
Hi
I'm looking at buying an makita 18v li-ion impact driver but concerned it may be overpowered for delicate light stuff as you can't adjust the torque levels from what i've been told. Any used one? Views ?
I know the new panasonic ones have adjustable torque levels for different uses.
Quick one,
Im researching into ways of gaining new contacts and am thinking of giving a sales rep ago.

Doing a PIR and come across 3 supplies connected as 3PH-N end earth at DB, but neutral not required or used at machine end and has heat shrink over the end of it at the machine end.
My question is, shouldn't the N conductor be grounded at the DB end instead of in the N bar as it would be a...

Hello Guys/Gals
I was called out to a shop yesterday to look at a faulty heater. Whilst I was there, I noticed that to turn the 3 rows of 8 foot fluorescent lights off, the shop staff use the 16a mcb's in the fuse box, 1 mcb per row. My understanding from the regs book is that a mcb should...
Hi all, I'm installing some external security lighting and wondered if general purpose pvc cable clipped to the wall is ok and will withstand the elements? Or whether I should be using something else.
Regards.

Went to sign up but stopped short at the stage where they asked me to fork over £350 quid for the basic package.

Hello chaps
Did a visual safety check at a house today. All seems ok, except for the lighting circuit. Who ever installed/re-wired the system has used 2.5mm cable.....to me it seems a bit overkill, but could this be used to try and cover an issue that its previously had.
Is this ok?
Not...
