    Diode used with Relay

    Can anyone tell me what the result would be if a diode was put in the opposite way round in a bed light relay? (e.g. a bed head light for a hospital bed) In the correct terminals but the black stripe on the diode in the wrong way. And its in the extra low voltage side.

    can 10mm yellow/green cable used for live conductor?

    Just inspected a shower, found someone used 10mm yellow/green cable as live and neutrol conductor, the csa is no problm, but does yellow/green cable has the same insulation sheath with grey cable? i assume this is fine, but hope to get some confirmation... cheers

    cpc used as line conductor

    Hi all, Just did an inspection, a cowboy did the lighting wiring, in a 2 way switch wiring, he used cpc as line conductor, is this code 2 or code 4? i am thinking if this is code 2, the owner has to has the wall cheaseled and this could be a lot of money, cannot find reference anywhere....
