    Sorry, another bathroom zones question!

Hi ive had a quick search but can't seem to find a definitive answer. I'm just wondering if zone 2 is up to 600mm above zone 1 above a bath or shower? I've seen a few diagrams showing that it is: but looking in the on site guide it shows it isn't: Above 2.25m is outside zones even above...

    Coving and safe zones

If their is coving, would the 150mm safe zone be at the bottom of this? I haven't come across this before and am wishing to run it in the safe am zone but was just getting clarification, in my opinion I feel that this is okay but if this was removed in the future it could present issues. The...

Another OSG error I haven't seen mentioned... RCD and zones

Eh up :) We all know about the duff max Zs tables in the OSG (Table B6) and GN3 (Table A4)... in fact, I've only just recently updated my GN3, and I'm pleased to say they have reprinted it and it now has the correct tables in. I've noticed in my (early-purchased, with dodgy table B6) OSG that...

Ttv aerial point and safe zones?

:smile5:Hi, does the installation of an TV point create a safe zone in the same way say a socket would? Just been to look at a job and seen a 2.5mm t+e running down a wall above a TV point and then turn to feed a socket. Never seen this before and it got me thinking whether this is allowed or...

Hi I am cladding a room in wood panelling and need to move some wall lights and sockets. The cables are RCD protected. Is it allowed to run them along the "horizontal safe zone within 150mm of the top of a wall" and then vertically down to the light switch/socket? Do they need mechanical...

    RCD on bathroom lighting

Okay, I'm preparing to open myself up to some abuse here, but I have had a good read of the BGB before I posted this and I just want to make sure I had things right as I think the regs are perhaps open to interpretation. I've just done a bathroom makeover with a plumber mate which involved...
