Hi, I'm at a job where there is 4x16 amp sockets protected by 4x16 amp rcbos in a bollard, the customer now wants 6 amp rcbos cause he wants to limit what people are using can you do this? I suppose it will just trip if people use more than 6 amps

Blimey that pic kicks my attempt at humor into touch, I honestly thought you had spelt boards as bollards, oh well never mind eh.
Easy mistake lolFair enough, I just saw decking. I shall have a read of Section 721, then...
Assume that you mean a boat yard. Fitting 6A MCBs will stop the use of some power tools. Is that really what your customer wants? No just general power to a boar yard
Were all friends on here
Looks more rounded like an armoured but I see what you are seeing. Would be a shame if it were though as it is a nice bollard!I like the T+E feeding it, look a top job !
No need there's already smart card metres the other side which you top up on a card, but customers adamant he wants 6 amp rcbos which I didn't really understand as he's not paying for the billfit pre-payment meters to each socket.
He's adamant that's what he wants as he has various IP rated boxes with sockets doted around the yard already which have 1 RCD and 4x 6 amp MCBs so he wants the same in the new bollard but as RCBOsAssume that you mean a boat yard. Fitting 6A MCBs will stop the use of some power tools. Is that really what your customer wants?
You need to find out what the real reason is for wanting to limit the supply.
It's 6mm SWA hahahahahahaI like the T+E feeding it, look a top job !
