19.1ka psc reading on a 2 bed small house!

there you go mate. your cutout should have a high enough breaking capacity to cover this, but double check that you aint got a 3036 ect.
i think the one you need is a 1361-2 or a bs88


Think these are only good to 16kA PFC and that is with a CU enclosure to BS EN 60439-3 :)

Edit: bit of a cop out but instead of using your measured value you could phone up the supplier and get them to quote you a value.

Depends on the ''let through energy'' of the type of BS 1361. But generally most 1361 fuses will limit the let through energy to below 6KA in the majority of cases in domestic situations....
 
how do they do that? And whats the point in putting a ka rating on the mcb then?
