Went to look at installation of a one 3P+N EV charger at a care home the other day which I am quite interested in doing having only previously done SP+N chargers.
There is a very empty CU nearby which is useful, but there are no SPDs or RCDs etc. I was looking at using an ICS charger as the RFID etc. is useful in this instance. Does anyone know of TP+N bolt on CUs with SPD and an RCBO all in one, like the more domestic SP+N ones you can get. I have seen plenty without the SPD.
If such a thing exists I was thinking of supplying one of these from a 50A MCB, then out in some 6mm 5 core EV ultra, or just NYY-J to the charger, otherwise it's just a separate SPD unit next to the smallest CU I can find- not the end of the world, just looking for the neatest solution.
The installation is simple enough, but the CUs with SPD and RCBO are seemingly harder to come by than they are for SP+N domestic installations, so just looking for any experience with them.
