I hope its test between all line conductors joined and earth then test betwen line conductors seperatelly.

Then for the motor cable isolate the motor or the results will be affected if left connected.

Test from the isolator to the motor.

Hope this makes sense.

My exam has been postponed to Tuesday evening. So keep the hints comming but reading through the posts, there looks like there is at least 2 diferent papers been issued for the 2nd.

These tips are great. I dont start my 2391 till Jan 10th. But it seems all the studying I'm doing is no good, past papers and all that. Can anyone give us the answers to the questions on here now that you have time to look them up? I could look them up my self but ive got loads more revision to do.

were definantly doing ours monday nite we were at our centre today and they said not every can make it so its moved to the monday

I find this highly unlikely, I work as a tutor and assessor in a centre and we know nothing of an exam monday night, you can not have the same exam sat on two different nights, there is already info on this site which would give an unfair advantage if this was the case and faled delegates from the 2nd could insist that any such passes on a subsequent night were made void, I have just checked the C&G centres infor and there is no mention of Monday, I would make sure Monday morning before you make a journey

city and guilds do allow ctrs to do this, and i have known it happen before. not often but it has happened. i know a ctr that is running one monday.

Chill out mate!! im sure it will be a different paper... We all know what the C&G are like, i think its just a bit of wishfull/possitive thinking for those taking it Mon.

anyone else notice on question 26 you had to find 6 faults with test results, i think 3 were high Zs's and 3 were failed IR results, but 2 of the IR results were in a LIVE/LIVE column, how can you have Live-Live insulation resistance on a lighting circuit, i took it as a printing error and it was meant to be LIVE-NEUTRAL anyone do the same?
