Hi mate, I can bond the water no probs, but the gas bond would turn the place upside down. It's a friend doing me a favour for my assessment. Surely the inspector wouldn't have to know I bonded the gas and water. I could bond the gas near the water intake, surely that would not affect me passing my assessment it would just be noted on the EIC, gas bond wrong location. As tony says, install bonding, and make notes on the EIC regarding non-compliances in the existing installation.I'd mention the fact that the single 30mA RCD does not comply with Section 314 and negates the purpose of diving the installation into separate circuits.
Yeah I had thought of that, not worth chancing it and having to pay for another assessment. Scratching my head on this one....Might the Assessor be suspicious that the bonding conductors appear new?
