The DNO are only responsible to the meter, anything from the outgoing side is our responsibility ........ But they seal it and we are not allowed to cut them to inspect the connections on our side...... Hmm, so tell them to leave you an isolator to connect to

If it were so simple. Because we are relying on the DNO main fuse for the protection of our tails, they can basically stipulate what ever size tails they deem fit. It would seem IzzyS distributor insists on 25mm tails and therefore if you want to use their fuse to protect the tails that is what you fit.

The OSG actually advise you correctly on this in the meter tail section 2.2.3 and guides you to regulation 434.3 part (iv) concerning this.
