Just rang it, they said the jobs been pulled from them so its not going anymore. I said ÂŁ25 per circuit and the lad said hold on I'll ask. Come back on phone...the jobs been pulled so its no longer available......

yEH Yeh

to be fair, i spoke to one of their staff, only 20 mins ago and he agreed with me that for ÂŁ25 all you had time for was a quick visual. he said he would get the " consultant " concerned to investigate. apparently, ÂŁ25 is what the client was prepared to pay. and that client, apparently is a housing association. so everything will be in mini-trunk with surface accessories, multi=adaptors everywhere, and a wylex rewireable with 1 or 2 plug-in MCBs.

If this a housing association then they need to ashamed of themselves.

As a test engineer myself i work it out to be the cheapest way

Recomended 15 mins per circuit... Most house . 2 rings . 2 lights . cooker. imersion/heating etc basic.

So 6 Circuits . = 1h 1/2 - 2 Min per test. ÂŁ30 an hour ish . and then one hour at home which isnt stressfull to do paper work so ÂŁ20 an hour = ÂŁ80 minimum.

Oh leave off hour and half. Have you ever tested social housing? I.e moved all the rubbish out the way, scraped all the grime off the cooker point, and the mould off the electric shower.
