Are my electrics safe?

Hi,
I currently have an electrician doing some work in a rental house for me and I'm not massively happy with the work or damage he has done (chipped / scratched worktops). One of my main concerns is the electrical work in the kitchen. I will try to describe:
Cable comes in from the ceiling straight down into a double socket which is to be capped. A single cable then runs down to another double socket, this then splits into 3 more cables going out: one to extractor fan through a fuse, one to another double socket and the last to a another double socket with a cable coming out of it going to a fuse box connected to the boiler.
This does not seem very safe to me. What do you think?

that cable diagonally from Cooker Isolator is non-compliant. and so is the position of said isolator above the hob, for starters.

There's a bit of white flex that looks like it's coming from the new gas hob. Is that going to be plugged into one of those double sockets to the left of the picture? NOT very clever if it is !!

Not sure if it's a case of slow brainer monday, but to me that diagram looks like there's a radial which then has a ring coming off for the twin outlet above the worktop and the FCU for the extractor, meaning there are 4 sets of cables in each termination in the twin outlet under the worktop?

just start again mate and while you're at it sort the cooker circuit out. has your consumer unit got rcd's in it? because although he has attempted to protect the cable the new sockets need to have rcd protection.

Looks that way - he / she even notes that the supply may be spurred from a socket upstairs!

If so then that makes no sense. Why do half the work first and then ask?

So can you post a copy of the cert(s) you have been given? Obviously you'll need to blank out the personal details!!

All depends on RCD protection and MCB size I suppose, if an RCD is there and the MCB 20 amp, well although a rough Job it is safe, the socket above the hob is a problem, it looks as if he is going to add a blank plate on there ha ha, also I don't like the cooker isolator position either, but as Murdock mentioned lets see a certificate and we will know if you have a DIYer working for you.

Having looked back at the sketch and noting that the socket above the hob is to be "capped" (which I guess means completely covered over) I'd venture to suggest you need to start again.
