Hi guys /girls can you run armoured cable straight into c/unit or does it have to go into Henley block and then run tails from that ?

Will a stuffing gland do or does it have to be some sort of fancy special one?
:)

Don't faff about with glands, just get a tie wrap on inside of back box to stop it falling out

What has occurred with the transmission out of interest? :coolgleamA:

Right...........
Aux pulley end, can barely turn the crankshaft against the compression (with a socket), it's diesel; starter motor's spinning OK assuming it's engaging on the flywheel! In 4th gear as well, it's on stands.
There's some clunking going on, something is seriously knackered!
I'm thinking some kind of catastrophic flywheel/clutch trouble.
I'll whip the starter off first for a shufty.

Last motor mechanics I did was on my Mk II Capri, easy, happy days. :)

And........ i still dont know what your asking mate and i think you have been given a few answers from people here.
If you terminated an swa today and glanded it off then why do you need me to explain how you do it?? Im offski mate

Well I for one have enjoyed this thread and as an added bonus am moving to the Democratic peoples republic of south shields to embark on a lucrative partnership with a mad Geordie, This time next year Rodney!
