... Is it me, or do the nail-in cable clips just not go in to the surface and just bend?

How do you attach your cables to hard-rendered outdoor walls?

Is there an alternative way? I was thinking of using Cable cleats, but am not sure on the size to get for 7mm Coax cable.

I look forward to your time-served wisdom.

Thanks
Si

If you don't like an image that someone has posted, to show an inexperienced forum user an example of a clip then please, do ignore the post and move on.

Oh I see, once an experienced forum user has commented, everyone else must support/agree with their comments, and nothing contrary is acceptable.

This a an open forum for discussions it is inherent that there will be different POV, and whether someones made 1 post or 10,000 posts, their comments are equally valid. I have made incorrect/inaccurate comments on here and others have rightly criticised me and I have done the same to others. Thats life

But the incredible thing is, the anger being expressed in this thread is not because I criticised a person its because I criticised a little bit of cable.

Ok guys...
Thank you for all your helpies.
I have my answer now.

I hate to see forum members not enjoying each others' company

:chillpill:

For the record, a "tight" bend on co-ax is bad (Where "tight" is referring to size of curve) it needs to be of a decent radius to stop internal reflections causing interference, especially on digital signals.

However, if "tight" was being referenced like someone could say "wow, that band is tight", then that could be a lot better (meaning good, together and neat).

Anyway... I'll leave now... :vanish:

Have I supported or agreed with anyone?
No, just making an observation.

It does seem however you had a difficulty in giving this thread some positive input to the OP. All you could provide was a negative input that took the thread off course.

I gave you some advise to just move on if you dont like or agree with someone else's post, who cares about the bend of that cable it was to show the use of a P-clip.

Just take it easy.

So what do you do now?

OXO I await an answer to my question

Who the Foul language removed are you to demand anything of me or anyone else, you arrogant Foul language removed.

At what number of posts did you decide that you had authority to order people around? Or is this the first time in your life that you've thought you had any power over other people?

AyotollaTony, he who must be obeyed. lol
