... Is it me, or do the nail-in cable clips just not go in to the surface and just bend?

How do you attach your cables to hard-rendered outdoor walls?

Is there an alternative way? I was thinking of using Cable cleats, but am not sure on the size to get for 7mm Coax cable.

I look forward to your time-served wisdom.

Thanks
Si

When fixing nail-in cable clips to hard materials you should pre-drill 5mm diameter fixing holes and insert pin-plugs into the holes to grip the fixing nails of the clips.

I would do that with T + E cable mark, as a P clip would look naff, but on a round cable like coaxial, flex etc, then if your going to the trouble of drilling a hole, may as well clip it with something that looks a bit nicer, only in IMO of course.

Awesome also! I love finding out about new fixings like this, being relatively new, there are many ways to do the same thing and it seems that it's all about finding out the best way to do it.

Thanks.
