Hong Kong was nice a few years back, but took the kids the gran canaria this year and they loved it. We tend to stick to the Canary Islands as your pretty much guaranteed warm weather .

"Hello All",

For a `Sunshine Holiday` I have found that You cannot beat Cyprus.

Almost unbeatable Weather from Spring to Autumn - the Temperature in High Summer can top 100 Degrees Fahrenheit and is always in the high 80`s / 90`s.

It is a really Clean Island - the People are very nice and welcoming - English is spoken by a very large percentage of the People - the Food is very nice and the Beaches are very good.


It was becoming quite expensive for Meals and Drinks but I have recently been told that since the `recession` / Banks disaster where depositors `Lost` a percentage of their Money the Prices in Restaurants and Bars etc. have stabilised / gone down because it has been realised that if prices are perceived to be too expensive that will Stop Tourists from coming.

And also the Cypriot people were finding it too expensive when they wanted to use the Restaurants and Bars in the Resorts.

I have been there many times and stayed in / visited most of the Resorts and I can recommend Cyprus [Southern] unreservedly.


I have not been to Northern Cyprus [Turkish occupied section] so I cannot comment about the Resorts there.

you may laff , but you can be assured that San Francisco is one of the most exciting cities in the world to hang out in , as per my august trip to Cali.
i've been before , and seeing the golden gate brigde in the mist is epic.
