Just a quick heads up guys, it's official, C&G have extended this qualification now until 2012, so anyone who wants to get on it, be quick!!

cheers mate

they called and i had half hour to get there and also found out i may get most of it funded so result mate
even though its been extended the funding wont be there so most colleges will either not run it or they will charge you a lot more than now. I had to get there through rush hour lol pay ÂŁ110 and hopefully thats it instead of the ÂŁ800 he first told me so double result cheers matey now i just have toi get my head round being a student at college after 25yrs lol since my apprenticeship

Hi ringer think they would have let you do it anyway as you doing the 2330 lv2 I am jumping in hope i dont drown lol
good luck ringer and thanks to high tower and phil for bringing it to my attention
and after the dole telling me as i am a carer there is no funding or training or help as i am not classed as unemployed soon as i was at the college should have cost ÂŁ800 but tutor said I could possibly get it for ÂŁ110 instead of ÂŁ800 amazing the joke centre have been fobbing me off for last dont know how many years i could have been on the 2330 lv 2 and then done the 3 now i will just have to settle for the lv3 and hope i can cope with the work
I will have to play catch up also the course started 2 week ago so not good
The NVQ 2356 lv 3 has also been extended until july next year even though the C&G dont seem to know this even though its on there website??????????????????/
whats that about think HIGH TOWER should be there boss lol

my college wouldn't let people do the level 3 unless they done level2 ,,

an u are very lucky to get a level 3 paid for if u are over 20 ,theres no adult level 3 funding available in any of the colleges within 25 miles of my house for any courses ,,this i found out after i enrolled on level 3 last september , then i couldnt get funding from anywhere and have a struggled to pay the money .

this is first qual that they paid for me all i have to pay is ÂŁ110 first he said over ÂŁ800 but as i am a carer and get a little income support i will get it paid
to get it paid upto first lv2 or 3 have to be on some kind of benefit
ie
Housing benefit
council tax benefit
income support
J.S.A
I have paid well over ÂŁ5k for
2382-10
2377
2393
logic full scope electrical lv A and defined scopes lv B, C,
also a 8 week evening course for 2391-10
so when he said ÂŁ800 i thought ok but to get it for ÂŁ120 yippee is all i can say
i have tried to get help of jobcentre for yrs and yrs to get on this or similar but always told no funding or training or any help what so ever even looking for a job or setting up self employed they never said anyone on benefits can get help with costs
and even if they hadnt paid this for me i would have some way some how mate
most of the colleges which was loads said it qwas ending or onlylv2 but the lv 3 is a stand alone qual
if i knew they were extending then i would have enrolled for lv2 but as the 31 st was supposed to be the last registration until they changed it after i enrolled
the money i have paid didnt come easy mate after yrs and yrs of working low paid jobs until my mrs was left disabled after private op and then can no longer ever work resulting in me having to be her carer, but was swallowed very quickly by these courses
