Can a multifunction tester kill you?

A quick zap with the 500v IR tester isn't too bad, but what happens if you get yourself with the RCD test?

150mA is more than enough to kill you, should I be worried about accidentally RCD testing myself?!

electronic wizardry. not the same as an inverter, but similar principles. testers stick to D.C.

It's been ages since I have read up on theory of testers, from memory they run on DC because AC causes reactance, due to capacitance or inductance..Still a nasty --- winder tho lol

Some dead tests need to be conducted using ac current and generate their own
Old continuity testers and earth electrode testers are a couple of examples

my wife wanted to know what a shock felt like once so i gave her a quick zap and she just about killed me....lol I then told her that was nothing like the real thing and got thumped again....lol
You IR'd your wife? I'm surprised you still have your balls mate. Would a description of a shock not have done the job?
That said, when she's annoying the thought has crossed my mind:)
