Changing main switch on CU

Hi all

Just looking for some advice pls. I've been told that I need a new CU as the existing main switch has the wrong rating. Isn't possible to just change the main switch. Existing CU is Marbo.

Yes it not the neatest of jobs but I don't see much point in going somebody in to 'tidy the board up'. Whether you trust the testing results you receive from your sparky is another matter though.

thats very interesting , however i have never had a shock from touching a neutral bar in a DB even when the power is on ......... funny that ?
and this neutral rail cover you speak of must be missing on every fuseboard ever made lol
